Marketing Your Litter

1. Advertising your litter to the best of our ability, which will include advertisement on our website. If we deem it necessary, we will write up and place ads in various newspapers and on other internet sites.  The cost of these ads will be billed to you.  You will be consulted before any ads are placed.       
2. We will use our kennel name and all calls regarding puppies will come through our kennel.  We are usually available at all times throughout the day.
3. We will periodically keep you posted regarding sale of puppies and we will notify each prospective client when puppies are born so that they can become fully committed with a deposit.   
4. We will screen prospective buyers as thoroughly as possible.  If we deem the buyer unfit, the sale will be terminated.
5. We will consult with you and determine a date and time for all prospective buyers to arrive at your home to select their puppy on puppy day.  If you prefer, we can arrange for puppy day to take place at our kennel, but you would then be responsible for transporting the puppies to our home that morning.
6. We will furnish books for each buyer which will include all necessary information (pedigree, health certificate, feeding, care, etc.)
7. We will be available to consult with all buyers on puppy day, screen them further and answer any necessary questions.

8. We will do the best we possibly can to sell your puppies, however, we cannot guarantee the sale of any puppy and we will not be held liable in any way.

    

   The fee is ______________ per puppy sold.  This is due at the time the puppy is sold.

    

   In order for us to market these puppies you must agree to the following:

   • Provide us with a pedigree of your bitch/dog. 
   • Provide pictures of your bitch/dog for us to use in the marketing of the puppies.
   • Agree that each puppy will be checked by a licensed veterinarian and given their first puppy shots.  We will not be responsible in any way for the health of any puppy.  All veterinarian bills are to be paid by you.  You shall request a health certificate from your veterinarian for each puppy.  The health certificate shall be provided to us prior to the sale of the puppy so that it may be included in the puppy books.  The health certificate should include all shots, medications administered (if necessary), diagnosis, etc. 
   • You will be responsible for refunding the complete price paid to you for the puppy if any congenital problem is found when the new owner’s vet examines the puppy.  We will only sell your puppies if the health guarantee is available to the buyer.  We will instruct them to take their puppy to their own veterinarian with your health certificate.  They must do this within 5 days for the health guarantee to be valid.  If their veterinarian finds any congenital defects the buyer is eligible for a refund of the purchase price to be paid by you. 
   • Furnish us with food you are feeding the puppies so we may give each buyer a one day supply.  We recommend premium brand foods, such as Bil-Jac, IAMS, Eukanuba or Science Diet.  We are available to advise you how to wean, feed and care for the puppies until the sale is final.
   • Your name and address shall be provided to each buyer on the date of the sale of the puppy.  You will then be fully and wholly responsible and our services will be terminated.
